UPPSC Mains 2024: This year, 15,066 candidates will take the mains exam. The deadline for the registration is March 24. Aspirants will have to visit the official website–uppsc.up.nic.in and fill in the form.

UPPSC Mains 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started the registration for the UPPSC PCS mains examination. This year, 15,066 candidates will take the mains exam. The deadline for the registration is March 24. Aspirants will have to visit the official website–uppsc.up.nic.in and fill in the form.

Candidates will need to upload all the educational qualification details along with certificates of Class 10, 12 and graduation. The details have to be supported by the authentic documents uploaded in the specified size as said by the Commission. The prelims results were declared on February 28.

UPPSC Mains 2024: Steps to fill

Step 1: Visit the official website–uppsc.up.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will have to select the notifications for the advertisement.

Step 3: Select the link that says ‘Fill online details for Advt No A-1/E1/2024. Combined state, upper subordinate services Mains Exam 2024.’

Step 4: Candidates can also log in using their dashboard to fill in their details, including education, contact and pay the requisite fee.

Step 5: Download the form for future purposes.

The UPPSC PCS mains exam is scheduled to take place on June 29, 2025. Through this exam, candidates will be offered jobs in various government departments within the state. Those who successfully pass the UPPSC PCS mains exam will then need to attend an interview.

The UPPSC prelims exam was conducted in two shifts — first from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and second between 2:30 and 4:30 pm at 75 districts of the state.

While the UPPSC prelims exam will comprise of two papers – General Studies paper 1 and a UPPSC CSAT paper (paper 2), the mains test is more challenging as it includes a total of eight papers comprising general Hindi, general English and general studies papers.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission exam is a state-level examination to select applicants for various positions within the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The examination is divided into three parts — the preliminary exam, the mains exam, and the interview.

Meanwhile, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of rejected applicants at its official website. Aspirants who have registered for the UPSC Civil Services prelims can check the list uploaded on the official website of the Commission– upsc.gov.in.

The Commission has released a list of rejected candidates due to the non-receipt of the application fee of Rs 100 from the bank. A total of 43 candidates have had their applications rejected for this reason.

According to the official notice, candidates may appeal their rejection within 10 days. Appeals must be submitted along with the necessary documentation, which includes a hard copy of either the system-generated challan or a copy of the debit/credit card statement or bank account statement, as applicable.
